Wow beautiful corn !!!
To see if its ready, you have to take your thumb and press on the corn until liquid comes out, if its milky then the corn is ready to pick.

Hi there! :frow

Try this site -- it tells you how to tell when to pick various veggies, corn included. Keep it by you for other veggies as it can be difficult to tell sometimes!

Good Luck! I hope it's delicious. :D They certainly look ready from the photos. :fl

You don't have to peel the whole thing, just peel a little bit of husk back to where you can see some of the kernals (the 'real' ones, not any unfilled ones that may exist near the tip of the ear). Look at several ears from different plants in different parts of the corn patch. If the corn isn't ready yet (liquid in kernals is clear), you can replace the husk/silk without undue damage to that ear.

Good luck, have fun,

Pat
