Why???? my poor Hydrangeas :(

I bought 2 from Walmart's garden center about 2 wks. ago...they were doing fine when I planted them. This morning I checked them and they were looking great...this evening when I went to water them, they were wilted and some of the stems had fallen off. What gives???

You've had the same heat we have. Give 'em a water and wait it out.

I bought some from lowe's last year and they went straight to ICKY. This year I pruned them 6" down and now I have TONS of big beautiful leaves. You may not get some good blooms until next season.
