That's a sweet picture. I am so impressed with grampas who invest their time in their grandsons.
My mom and dad moved out of state when my boys were small, dad had a few years to take kid#1 on walks to their local park to play on the swing and feed the ducks, but they moved shortly after kid#2s birth.
My FIL, for whatever reason, never did anything one on one with our boys, even though we lived nearby.

Never knew either grandparents. I did adopt the couple next door as grandma and grandpa, but it is never the same.
