I found quite a few of these worms today and I was wondering what they are.

Oh it is?? Jk I was just hoping it’s not something that could hurt you because I found it in some chicken poop. But it doesn’t look like a pinworm.

there are many different kinds of worms. that one (based upon the dirt on it) is some kind of earth worm (vs. those which live primarily in organic matter), to figure it out more specifically you may need to learn a lot more about worms (including using a magnification device of some kind). my suggestion is to google worms of Florida and look at the images and see if any are similar and then go from there.

Okay thanks, I’m glad it’s not something bad. pinworms are not earthworms or composting worms they are nematodes (aka roundworms).
pinworms are much smaller than the worm in your picture. 6-13mm.

No, not something that can hurt you ~ I see, I believe a raised area (bushing)just behind the ~ a common Earthworm that has been with us, helping us get nutrient locked in the soil ```
