A client just gave me a big bag of vegetables from her garden. Going through the bag I found 2 tomatoes with whole foods stickers. Don't know why I am suprized if you bring your own pans to the cafe they will cook with them. Your dinner guest will think you cooked. Want people to think you good gardener buy produce

Last Saturday DW and I went to farmers mkt. to get some tomatoes to supplement our terrible harvest. This is canning time for us. I bought 4 dozen nice looking tomatoes from a guy I had never seen there before. A few hours later we decided that these tomatoes could not be home grown around here. The shape and beauty was far too perfect to be local home grown. I expected to see some kind of sticker on one or more of them but didn't find one. the tomatoes sere perfect but the taste was bland just like springtime in the Kroger store.

Hey, i just noticed that the left shift key on my confuser no longer works. that's why there are capital letters missing in my post. hmmmmm.

Here too . Our road passes through the village. Each fall to the road the old woman come and sell their crops. I used to buy, it's delicious. And then I noticed that it is an industrial crop. Cunning sellers wholesale vegetables simply employ old women sell their vegetables. Old women do an honest face and assure that these vegetables are grown only in the morning in the garden. But it is clear that this is not so. I just look and find that from garden really is.

Yes, they should. Not every woman can be deceiving. But there is adventuress.

There is the strong siren call of money. That trumps the value to many who would otherwise be honest.

Vegetable stands here do the same thing. They lie in your face and swear everything is "home grown" but anybody with any sense at all would know that is not true. A few places actually tell where their vegetables come from, there are two of them in neighboring towns to us and we will buy there.
