Years ago, we hired a man who was just doing yards on the side. He was so inexpensive that we had him over frequently. Over the years, we lost touch. I just ran across an ad for him. He's gone into the business full time now, and his prices are through the roof. You should do well in good time.

I'll just bet if you called him, he would give you a discount since you gave him your business when he probably needed it. This is the true spirit of America. To be an Entrepreneur is what our country was built on. Good for him!!

It's great that he's done so well for himself. I agree that he may give you a loyalty discount! If not, and you're not willing to pay full price, I guess you could look around for someone else on their way up.

Yardman turned lawn contractor

I love that in America people can start out mowing grass, pulling weeds and watering plants and eventually end up with a thriving business that takes care of families. We have some of those stories in our town, too, and it does my heart good to see where some of these newspaper boys or grass cutters are today.

That is really a good, inspiring story. That may have good work ethics. I am sure that he still knows you well and yes I agree with others here, he may give you a discount for being a good customer :)

Lawn Care Operator.

Now you know.

I often have to ask what my kids are talking about as well, and they aren't that young any more.
