There is a periwinkle vine out against the backyard fence with 1 bloom :). The few dandelion flowers in the neighborhood disappeared with the continuous wind we had last week. Can't blame them.

Quite a lot of frost this morning.

We will be back to normal today with a high in the mid-40's. But, I checked on Stanley ;). It's only 27°f way down (up!) there. Shoot, it's warmer in Stanley than in most of the nearby communities but ... they have and will have, snow.

We have 100% chance of snow ... or rain, tonight. At a predicted 35° for tomorrow morning, I guess that could be snow. Kinda funny, I was watching our 20% snow chance this morning come in from the west at 5am. At 7am, I thought to look at the radar map again. That little bit of snow hit Huckleberry Mountain and disappeared!

It's been raining good all weekend long! For a minute I thought there was some hail but I didn't check fast enough.

I really need to spray my peach and nectarine for peach leaf curl. Storms are over so I'm going to see if I can do it this afternoon. Need to plant those 10 tulip bulbs that may take me 20 minutes! I better hurry.

Harsh women?? Maybe harsh conditions - it looks like a very unromantic icestorm! Was everyone left, periwinkle blue?? ;)?

@Larisa , we should all go off to be @ninnymary 's neighbors every winter. We could enjoy rain without seeing it tear down the trees. The trees are so olde and tall just a little ways to the east of Mary's home, if one fell, it would be heard in every corner of North America!

Larisa what is average Moscow winter temperature ?
From 19°F to -4°F . But the climate is changing. Maybe even to rain. We like 19°F to 14°F . All skiing. Parks have excellent ice rink for those who like to skate. Kids love ice mountains. They play in the snow, build a snow fort, snowman ... In short, it's fun. In addition, the entire country has a Christmas vacation of 8 or 10 days.

Nyboy, I still have snapdragons flowering in the hosta garden. That's unheard of for the last week in November. Tomorrow, Monday, is predicted to reach the lower 50's. I am so loving this weather.
