The PNW is still in the middle of a winter blast. Rain, snow, hail, wind… where it stop nobody knows… trees are down , power outages in the entire region . Lots of rain this week with huge down pours 3-4 daily, and very soggy gardens.

Leaf blower is buzzy today… Spent quite awhile rounding up and blowing out the pink snow flakes from the cherry blossom blooms. Not to mention the Pollen Palooza ,,, yellow pollen covers everything that doesn’t move. The combination is a huge dust bowl scattering of yellow and pink. Aaashewww. 🙃

Come on over the pond to the US west coast. I’ll have a rhubarb pie and a lip smacking home cooked dinner. And a couple margaritas. Bring Nancy too. Roxy’s would like to meet her cousin. 💕😉

Rhubarb pie better than pumpkin it’s a perennial in my garden zone . I freeze it then by Nov thaw it out mix it up then add to a premade pie crust , bake it and it’s a winner…

I timed the horses eating and rotated pastures while feeding fresh green grass , as I always worry about my horses foundering. The vet recommended special feed made for horses mixed in with beet grain, has a lot less sugar, and also to soak the grass hay in water a few minutes before feeding...
