I put another light in with my starts. Still not enough room. I don't think I will ever have enough room for them all. I just keep growing more and more and more....
I should probably go back and update my list of what I started this year because it is WAY more than what I originally planned...
Oh don't worry, I drive a 2003 Buick Regal ;) I refuse to get a newer car because of how well it handles in the snow and it's so comfortable. Over 205,000 miles on that thing! I left the truck with 4WD at home because my car handles that much better.
You should see the look on the worker's face...
15 INCHES OF SNOW SO FAR!
It isn't supposed to quit until 3am. Why is this so shocking to me? I do live in MinneSNOWta after all.....
My normal commute is about 20minutes. It took me over 45min to get home tonight. The only upside to this is that I have varieties of peppers and tomatoes that I...
All the snow was finally melted this weekend and it was so nice. Then the winds picked up on Monday and the snow moved in. I'm at work watching the snow come down and it hasn't let up at all. I have to be here until 9:00pm.
I just did my MycoBlast fertilizer treatment today on my transplants to get their root growth stimulated more. Once I opened the shades in my house I realized it had snowed. We currently have 11inches of snow out there and it looks like a blizzard. I don't think ill ever get spring.
Upgrading the meaties to adult feeders tomorrow. They were a little crowded at dinner tonight. It's finally warm enough for them to be outside and they are so happy!
Speaking of zinnias....
I'm not exactly sure what to do with them now. They are getting pretty tall. Do I need to transplant them or will they be fine in these containers until I plant them outside?
It's also a good thing you got the 5 extra because meat birds can sometimes die without any symptoms whatsoever. And when they get fat and hungry they will do ANYTHING to get to that food. It's their genetics. I had a bird once that got trampled to death with it's head stuck in the feeder. They...
Here they are at 3 weeks. They are living in the garage now inside a pop up ice fishing house. They need to go outside but alas, it just snowed 8 inches and the egg layers are still in their coop because it is bigger.
I walked into the plant room last night and actually processed the growth the tomatoes have made over the past week. I finally started transplanting. So far I have only done the hybrid juicing varieties and some of the paste tomatoes and I am very impressed with stalk size and root growth. Nice...
I had a HUGE container of Mojito Mint that I bought from a little Cuban greenhouse. It was sooooo good. We had quite a few mojitos last summer. I brought it inside and it lasted until December.....and then Josh put it outside because it looked "dead". It was dropping all the big old leaves and...
That is very interesting information Hoodat. I am growing Golden San Marzanos this year. I have grown the red ones before but I grow so many tomatoes that it's hard for me to keep up with them and stake them. They can get pretty wild.
I just bought a baby quilt for a friend that was made by hand at my church for $80. I didn't even bat an eye at it because I know it will last a long time and will be a memory piece as well.
