Steve, saving seed because they can get crossed by other varieties, is so new to me (a newbie at vege gardening). So when the seeds are crossed, they are no longer "heirloom", I am guessing?
You are a serious gardener : ) I hope to learn from and get inspired by this group. Still need to set up our tunnel system (from east coast/inland AU), then there should be no stopping me : )
Thanks for sharing ... I see that you use little growing containers. I have been eyeing them on ebay, and believe that they will be the end of rats and roos eating my seedlings : )
Hi everyone, I can only share about wildlife at this stage : )
Possums dance on our tin roof from time to time, and we have a clear story window, which I am sure they watch us watching tv at night : )
Roos and rats are eating my seedlings, unfortunately ... working on that : )
Thats about all I...
Welcome!
Yes, likewise a newbie to TEG : ) I have been battling with my gardening "skills" in Australia for a few years now, and I am starting to wonder whether there is just too much rain lately (rotting the seedlings) or whether it is rats, and wallabies who are eating seeds and new shoots...
