:celebrate I just got a 250 gallon tank for free! :weee It is sitting in my back yard waiting to be rinsed out and turned into another rain barrell! Al I have to do is put rain gutters on the 30x30 workshop, put it up on some cinder blocks and wait for the rain. I couldn't be any happier...

All my plants died. It was just so dry (had to water twice a day) and my soil (if you can call it that) is terrible. Oh well, that's what next year is for.

So, I really have a long way to go to get my soil up to snuff. I was thinking about calling the local large animal vet clinic to ask them for their horse manure. I just wanted to ask y'all first if there is anything I should worry about as far as medicine or illness that might make the manure...
