Car talk is my secret fetish. some people give me a funny look when I say "gotta go car talk is on"

And This American Life speaks to my soul. I love Ira Glass. I also like the interview one.... Can't remember name... thinking... It usually has a female person leading it... they play repeats when someone dies or something happens.... comes on in the evening....I got nothing else

Well by now Joe and Broke should be quite 'Brain Mushed'

I wonder if they listened and will be able to come back and let us know what they experienced!

Come back.....come ....back..........come............back!

I like 95.9 the Ranch out of Fort Worth http://www.959theranch.com/
It's all Texas Country, though some of it is still too pop for my tastes, but as far as radio goes, that's what's on in the car.

I like traditional country, metal, and "classic" rock.

My family knows that I LIVE outside in the back yard, since we moved to 5 acres almost a decade ago. I have a boom box in the garage, a radio in the tool shed, and a radio/charger in the loft of my barn. I cannot work without my radio(s) but it's not really safe to have earphones one when you're handling horses, so I don't do that.

I listen to a lot of classical music--I was a music major, you see, so I'm interested in music trivia. I also listen to "A Prairie Home Companion" as long as Keiler doesn't go political on me. When I does I change channels. When he lets his cast write/run the show it's still pretty enjoyable, especially the sound guy. (There was a great skit on "Bridesmaid Insurance" a couple of years ago that had me howling!)

If I'm home during the week, I listen to Rush, Hannity, Beck, but whenever there's a baseball game our local stations cut their programming, so I have to go upstairs and change the channel. (If they were broadcasting football, I'd leave it on. ;) I really enjoy NPR when they broadcast their "off-hours stories" like Sunday evenings when most people DON'T listen to them. I've heard stories about Alquada raping, maming and killing civilians (2003 story) and another great story that was a followup on victim/perpetrators of the mortgage crisis (Sunday, Sept. 27th, 2009.)

Got my CLOCK-radio set on 92.5, Light Rock, because that wakes me up. My daughters and I are musicians so we pretty much like EVERY kind of music--I just don't work well outside listening to rock.

I still listen to all the old classic rock that I listened to growing up.
Aerosmith, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Paul Simon, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Lynard Skynard Van Morrison, Joe Cockert and more of them but I do like some songs by Nirvana, Oasis, REM and similar artists.
I'll listen to any station that plays that type of music but I also just throw cds on in the car.

did you see the TV of This American Life? omg I adored it! He is one of the few radio guys that looks exactly like he sounds (Ira Glass)

I knew I was not the only NPR nerd here! :love OOOXXX

Fresh Air? or what is it???? I know what you are talking about .. but am drawing a blank
I know the show you are talking about I am just foggy today from all the sickness I think

do not get me wrong I adore music but the classic rock stations get on my nerves with the DJ's blabbing about stuff...I like music in general ...I am on a Gypsy Jazz kick right now ...but if you are talking radio I love to listen to shows
