You guys are all so smart! Thank you for the help. That's definately what it is.
I'm not worried about it spreading as it's down by the creek and can do what ever it want. It's so pretty/
Thanks again for all the help
Jacie
Thanks Ron. I didn't even think of that because of the height and the thinness of the leaves. I thought it might be some type of moon plant.
Thanks for the info
It grows along our creek bank and the plants can be as high as 5 feet tall.
The flower is very delicate and almost translucent.
I would love to know what it is if anyone can help.

Ours is called the Riverhouse Our kids all started calling that. Now it's "Let's go up to the Riverhouse" when they want to come visit. The they fight over who gets the "cabin" out back.
Hey Arizonans. I will be lurking to see what you guys are planting and growing. I'm in Camp Verde down near the river. Just waiting on my strawberry plants to come in the mail. I had to take all the old ones out as they wore out.
We have a little over an acre and my hubby and friend have...
It's illegal!?? I've never heard of that? But I've only been in AZ for 25 years. So I assume you are supposed to get rid of it? I wanted it along my fence.
I know Tanzie (sp!) is illegal in WA State but that's because it deadly to livestock. What is the deal with morning glory?
Jacie
Looks like a miniature morning glory. It's growing along our road and is really pretty.
The flower is only about an inch big.
I would like to transplant some of it up into the yard along the fence. When and how is the best way to do this?
Jacie
I can remember growing up that we always stopped in or around that part of CO on the way from TX to WY to buy canelope. They were HUGE and oh so good.
Jacie
Hi Carri and all! To tell you the truth, I "forget" to come visit here and it's a shame because I always enjoy my visits! :love
What made me think to stop by today is I am very excited. :weee My strawberry patch is FULL of blossoms!!! Makes me very happy because it means spring is really...
thanks everyone for all the hints on what to do.
They are covered with netting. And the javelina stay away because of the geese and llamas! LOL!
Thanks again everyone
Jacie
They were only put in last year. What happens if you do not put in new plants every 3 years. Do they quit producing because I remember my Mom's very large strawberry plot and she never replaced the plants.
Jacie
Here's how my strawberries look right now.
We have had many hard freezes and I still have green leaves coming up.
I plan to clean out the grass but was wondering if I should leave the dead strawberries leaves as mulch or clean them out.
Plan to use organic fertilizer next month...
I wouldn't laugh at you at all. I planted mine last year down along the fence by the creek so it gets water all the time. It went crazy. And it's survived the winter freezes. Looks like it's going to be pretty big this year. I'm training it to take over the split rail fencing.
Congrats...
Hi Melanie. I uploaded my avatar. I'm the one on BYC that loves to do images using people's animal pictures. Are you the one over there that has the lion head rabbits? They are so darling. I was going to ask if I could use some of your pictures to play with of both the rabbits and the...
So glad I noticed this link on BYC. I'm sure I'll just mostly lurk and learn. Looks like some really smart people on here and I'm excited to see what is posted.
