I was watching this video yesterday morning and thought I would like to try canning her beef stroganoff. Then in the afternoon when I was doing my regular weekly grocery shopping I found rump roast on mark down!

I did the sweet potatoes (yes @flowerbug , pressure canned!) and two kinds of jellies, and then I got busy with other things so the rest of the canning list still waits.
Time for me to fire up the canner again. I have a long list of things I’d like to can. Sweet potatoes is first, because they’ve been taking up counter space for weeks.

Our tree is still up. We were gone at Christmas time so we’re trying to get more enjoyment out of it before we take it down. It brightens up dark winter evenings.
