It has perked up already! It seems the prayer plant is a type of calathea, so not sure which it is. If it flowers, you will know for sure. Enjoy!

Thank you! It looks even better this evening! I've been misting in the morning and evening. Is there anything else I can do to make sure it survives? Do you think the soaking in the water helped at all? I thought for sure it was a goner.

Do I mist each and every leaf? Do I leave the mist away from the crown of the plant? Can I mist the soil?


Any definite "not to dos"?

Will I need to move it into another pot eventually or will it be alright in that pot?

I LOVE this plant! Every morning you see it start to unfurl and at the end, you see it come together!
