$0.50 plant from Lowes

I don't know!! I felt so bad about leaving it there...I just had to go back and get it. I LOVE purple, so it was right up my alley!

It has perked up already! It seems the prayer plant is a type of calathea, so not sure which it is. If it flowers, you will know for sure. Enjoy!

Thank you! It looks even better this evening! I've been misting in the morning and evening. Is there anything else I can do to make sure it survives? Do you think the soaking in the water helped at all? I thought for sure it was a goner.

Do I mist each and every leaf? Do I leave the mist away from the crown of the plant? Can I mist the soil?


Any definite "not to dos"?
