@so lucky

My first season will be winding down in a few weeks and it's now time to start my fall seedlings.

Trying to decide which plants are left for a fall rush and which ones I want to yank.

Have you used cuttings before, HmooseK ?

I remember a gardener in Houston, I believe it was, regularly taking cuttings.

He may have even done that through winter. It was a new idea for me but not such a reasonable one here.

I have been thinking about starting two or three tomato plants now, to see if I can get fall tomatoes. The last few years, my tomatoes have been kaput in late summer.

we won't see fresh tomatoes here until mid-to-late August. i'm envious of my southern gardening friends, but then again, it's way too hot down there...

Steve,

The seeds I'm starting are for the Dwarf Project, but yes we were talking about taking cuttings on another forum just a few days ago. It would really be a great project for my Frosty Pink Plum tomato I'm growing out.

Great idea!
