3 Christmas Melon, 2 Cucumbers, 1 Dwarf Melon, and 3 Watermelon germinated today. I planted them 2 days ago. Wow.

I'VE GOT GARDEN FEVER!!!!! THE WALLS ARE CLOSING IN!!!!! NEED..... PRODUCE......

i think its going around. I have the chills, aches and pains. I understand the fever lasts a lot longer where I am here...at least another 6 weeks!

I'm excited about tomorrow. A guy that sells open-pollinated varieties is selling started plants at a local Natural Foods store. I know I'm getting a specific basil he has that I really like, Napolitano, but I can't wait to see what other things he has. It's still early to set the tomatoes and especially peppers in the garden, but I can keep them "hardening off" for a few weeks if I need to.

I always go to his sale for a very few specific things and come away with a lot more. I think Garden Fever is a good way to express it.
