I thought we already had a thread like this. I searched and couldn’t find it. This morning as I was waiting for my dogs to go potty, I noticed a few blooms on plants that I thought had quit for the year. I took pictures for the thread and now I can’t find it, so why not just start one?

Might be cheery for the winter to see what we all have blooming at odd times.

I can’t remember the name of this one. I looked it up once. It’s a weed that self seeds, but I planted it on purpose because I really like it’s blue flowers.

If I get a chance, I should photograph some “football” mums that are out front. They are going wild right about now.

Who else has flowers now?

My phlox and roses have quit for the year and I have no flowers whatsoever. But your little dog is so cute that I just had to post to say that!

Thank you! She just turned 15 one week ago today! It’s been 3 or 4 years now that she’s been showing her age more and more and I’ve been saying I don’t think she will make it to her next birthday. But she keeps plugging along!

I think the name of these mums is Cheerleader. I pruned them back in the early part of the summer to help them get bushier, but I believe they are supposed to have long stems regardless. Maybe I should have staked them. They were a little nicer before they got pounded with rain earlier this week.

And this is not actually blooming, but the purple beauty berries are colorful:

The red miniature rose is still blooming.

This is my other “miniature” rose. It was a gift in one of those little pots they have in grocery stores. But after a couple of years outside, it has gotten huge!
