Hello my friends! I'm back and thought I'd share some pictures of my garden this year. Things have slowed down for me a bit so I'll be showing up more often. :) My spring garden is done for the season, except for my peppers and okra since they love this stinkin' heat here in the south!

All told, I had a pretty good garden this year - I did get squash bugs on my squash, but managed to get a pretty good amount. The number ONE tomato in my garden this year was the San Marzano - wow! I'll be planting them again next year. As for the Pink Oxheart, I won't, as they were terrible and did not do well at all. Another great one was the heirloom Riesentraube - wonderful, sweet little tomato and very abundant! I'm looking forward to my fall garden and cooler temps!

Great pics! My garden is kinda cooked too. The green beans are coming on, they love the heat, being from Thailand! The butterbeans and sweet potatoes are running riot. The second planting of squash is blooming, borers killed the first bunch. I planted Riesentraube too and they were awesome! I have tiny tomatoes coming up for the fall garden.

What are you planting in your fall garden?

Joan, your garden looks very happy and healthy. Looks like you also run a tight ship...nice and tidy! :thumbsup

I think the San Marzanos are great too. One of my favorites. Yours look perfect!

Thanks all! I started on clearing out the garden yesterday for fall and hope to finish up today. It was actually a very nice day with low humidity - supposed to be the same today. I plan of planting broccoli, cauliflower, garlic, beets and brussel spouts.
