I also got Emelia's Italian beans from them. I also saw the name Emilia's Italian. Which one is correct?

I believe Emelia's with an e is the correct spelling. I wonder where they got it from. I got it from a very nice woman on Vancouver Island BC who used to be on this thread a lot, making many interesting comments. Annette Barley is her name. I miss her very much. I think she's probably had a stroke which may have changed life for her drastically. I was spelling the name with an i and Annette would see that and she would correct me.

i've signed up there to talk to more bean people. if you get a chance come back and say hello and talk beans there too (and anyone else :) ).

So what thread on Homegrown Goodness do you get on. Just for the heck of it. I tried loging on to what I thought was my user name and password and it worked.

I still lurk there once in awhile; but the discussions have mainly centered around "land race" breeding, which does not align with my personal interests. Then too, the founder appears to have abandoned the board, so its pretty quite there. Many more bean people here. :thumbsup

i understand, and yes i noticed that it looks like a lot of people have left, but somehow the site is still up and running so someone must be still behind it somehow.

still for people looking for some good reading on beans/peas and many other topics it is well worth the time.

I think they have this bean from Annette herself. She traded with people from the UK, if I understood correctly what I read in earlier parts of LEBN.
