Thank goodness for that!! Very relieved after all the delay and red tape.
Very pleased you liked them too. I'd love to grow Ernie's Big Eye and anything else you think might suit. I'll email you separately in a day or two with some thoughts and requests.
Hey, Hey, Hey ! A box of beans from the United Kingdom arrived in the mail box today Via the USDA in California. Thank you for the beautiful extra beans. You did a wonderful job of making the labels and package list. Wow ! Thank you again for what you did. I will tell you this. I have never grown Jacob's Cattle that even comes close to looking like yours. I have other beans that have a very similar coloring and pattern that will come out looking that good. Just not JC. I think I will just save yours to look at. You know I would love to have you grow some Ernie's Big Eye. They look just spectacular when grown in the UK.

@pjn,

Since you live in north central Tennessee. Do you ever go to the Bill Best "Sustainable Mountain Agriculture" seed swap in Livingston? First Saturday in October. I sold beans at two of them now. 2018 and 2019.
I have not but will put it on my calendar for 2020. My niece is looking at a place in Livingston,TN. It is a little over an hour from where I live.

I forgot to say- I will go back and see what I have left of what you originally sent to see if I can try Kutasi princess and likely Mona Lisa as well in 2020.

My seed bins are a freaking disaster right now though. Ugh omg. I have to get them organized tho as it’s seed buying season!!

I'm looking for Kutasi Princess seeds. #Bluejay77 or yourself in helping me? TIA!!

you're welcome! :)

two feet of silt i'd be jumping for joy! :)

From time to time reed still grows. It's hard to fight it because the rhizomes are deep in the ground. Nearby there is a whole field covered with reeds. There was a regularly mown meadow around 30 years ago. Nature regains what has been taken from her.

I envy you those events where you can swap seeds. There are no such in Poland.
I once wrote to Sustainable Mountain Agriculture Center because I wanted to buy Hazard Fall bean and maybe others, but I didn't get any answer. I'm stubborn, I will try again soon. :)

@Raiquee,

I have you down as the only grower of Kutasi Princess in 2019. What happened? Did you have a weather disaster with the bean? Did you get anything out of it. Are you going to do any bean return this year. You also had Atwater, Red Swan, Tanya's Pink Pod, Mona Lisa, and Pale Grey Lavender.

This year I was growing Stoltzfus String beans. I probably received and planted the crossed seeds, because now I have a mix of colors. Which ones are the most similar to the true Stoltzfus String bean? If you can, please help me.

I sowed these seeds.

I harvested such seeds.

Certainly these are not seeds from pics 3 and 5.
