A Slovenian variety that is very productive. Purchased from De Flora in Germany in 2013. This was the fourth time I've grown the bean in 10 seasons. This name is also the name a village in the municipality of Slovenska Bistrica in northeastern Slovenia. It is probably the place of origin for this variety. Total amount of seed from one plant 1.25 ounces (35.43 gm).

Dazzle - Bush Dry - 2022

This bean was disovered in a semi runner bean with yellow pods in 2016. I have grown this bean five times often getting both yellow and green pods. I finally was able to select a green podded strain. The bean did produce one off type this summer shown in the second photo. Total amount of seed from 10 plants 10.1 ounces (286.33 gm)

An Australian variety sent to me by a Austrian bean friend in 2013. This year was the fourth time I've grown this bean. Productive variety of fairly large size beans. Total amount of seed grown this year was 9.10 ounces (257.98 gm)

Deseronto Potato - Semi Runner Dry - 2022

An Abenaki nation variety. The bean has been grown by the Iroquois, and Seneca people of North America. Moderately climbing plants climb to about 4 to 5 feet (121 to 152 cm). Can be used as a thickener in soup or mashed like potatoes. Total amount of seed grown this year was 6.8 ounces (192.77 gm).

This bean comes to me from my bean friend in Austria who purchased the bean from Sarconi Seeds in Italy. This year was the first time I've grown the bean and it is very productive. Total seed harvest from 8 plants was 11.2 ounces (317.51 gm)

Discovered this bean in 2019 in Marico and gave it this name. Still unstable the bean needs more grow outs. Total Seed harvest from 8 plants was 6.5 ounces (184.27 gm)

Dreamer - Bush Dry - 2022

This bean came out of one of the 52 outcrossed seed packets sent to me by Will Bonsall (Scattered Seed Project) of Industry, Maine. The beans seed mother is one called Andrew Kent. The bean has been stable right from the very first grow out. Total seed produced from 8 plants was 3.55 ounces (100.64 gm).

A Robert Lobitz original named bean released in 1999 through a listing in the Seed Savers Exchange yearbook. The bean was grown last year in 2021 and I was not impressed with it's productivity at that time. Regrew it in a different location and soil. The productivity results were much better. Total seed produced from 10 plants was 8.85 ounces (250.89 gm)

Anothere Robert Lobitz named bean that I grew last year and had to see if it would grow any better in a different soil. It grew much better this season. Last years harvest was a quarter of this year. Very productive 10 plants produced 20.15 ounces of beans (571.24 gm)
