In this second song. I gave it some ideas about some of my original named beans and I thought it turned very nice. Below are the words and after that the link to the song.

Pretty awesome songs @Blue-Jay! Wow, you really figured out how that program works. I realized after I tinkered with Suno that there is an option for AI to generate lyrics instead of manually creating them, which is what I had done. Did you input all those lyrics?

I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas feasts! I've always wrestled a bit with Christmas Eve dinner because of all the baking and prep for Christmas day. The joke around the house here is everyone starves the day before any holiday meal, lol. Especially since I don't freeze or prepare anything far in advance, I do it all fresh so I'm working on it up until the last minute. But! Beans & cornmeal staved off hunger this Christmas Eve, DD had the fabulous and practical idea of polenta with tex mex style spiced red kidney beans. Took only 15 minutes to make the polenta, then we sauteed the little polenta slabs in olive oil for a crispy outside. Took 15 minutes to sautee some leeks, celery and peppers, fresh cumin, garlic and paprika - and then add the kidneys and mash it a little. Sprinkled with feta, and served them together side by side with raw veggies and homemade dip. Was sooo good! I loooove beans! 🫘

sounds very delicious to me. :) i like dark red kidney beans, they have a peppery sort of flavor to them that not many other beans have. i'm not sure what the chemical compound might be but it is distinctive enough that i do notice it when shelling beans out that are not fully dried down yet. anyways, i really like that whatever it is. :)

No I did not input those lyrics. AI did all the words. I just wrote a short sentence or two what the song was to be about.

Pink Standard - Pole Lima. The bean originates in Peru. It is not daylength sensitive. About as productive as most limas I have grown. I acquired this bean from a fellow in Iowa who had a lima collection. I believe he acquired the bean from the USDA seed bank in Pullman, Washington. This year the beans were sent out to a grower in Jonesborough, Tennessee.

Lengua de Lobo - Pole Dry. Also known as Wolfs Tongue. Blossom white, 8 inch (20.5 cm) long green pods. Large seed. The bean originates in Chile. This bean is one of the 30 pound (30.6 kg) bag of beans that Joseph Simcox had collected and brought into this counry. When I received the seed there may have been about 23 beans that were very dark chocolate brown from age. I did a germination test on about 5 them and got 66%. I had 18 seeds to put into the freezer. 9 of the seeds were sent out to a grower this year and I was surprised at how light this bean are when it's new. The grower of this bean states that the bean is daylength sensitive. Beans were planted in Early May and did not bloom until September. Dry seeds were harvested in October all the way into mid November. The grower was just lucky this year to have had an extended warm autumn for this bean to mature and dry seed.

I love red kidney beans too! I'd rate them very close to the top for culinary beans, along with black beans of any kind. White cannellinis are very nice too. Years ago I was able to buy extremely fresh dried romanos in a European specialty store, you could purchase by the pound, and wow those were fantastic, the best dried beans I'd ever eaten. Just off the charts flavor and texture. I've never met a bean I didn't like, but I'd admit commercially grown navy beans are the lowest on the pole for me. I still cook with them, but I use them in soups and stews that call for tomatoes, or parmesan - something strongly flavored to mask that slight undertone of 'offness' those beans have. The upside to them is a long slow simmer makes them almost creamy.

I feel affirmed to read this post @Blue-Jay - I was looking at Lengua de Lobo and wondered if I should select it for a grow out, but reading now how long it takes to bloom I am so glad I never picked it and to know not to!!! This would not be a good one for my short season climate!
This bean I have must not be an authentic Lengua de Lobo. I posted it on a facebook bean group and Guy Dirix tells me he's grown Lengua de Lobo and it's one of the earliest beans he's ever grown. He tells me it has purple pods. It's amazing that the bean I have has the same color and color tone that his bean has. Same seed shape and by the looks of his photo I would bet it has about the same size seed too. So how was it that Joesph Simcox had this bean marked Lengua de Lobo. Goodness only knows. I don't think the grower would have given me false information. The bean is supposed to have Romano type wide flat pods.
