2025 Little Easy Bean Network - Growers Of The Future Will Be Glad We Saved

Once you get your 2025 garden layout finalized. If you want you can request any Network beans you want to grow and any other beans you want to grow. I wonder if maybe we should just try the paper wrap method for all of it this year. What do you think about that?

This has been on my mind since this unfolded, and if I should continue with any network beans. Now I feel quite worried (paranoid even) about this happening again. I feel bad that this happened at all, that was a lot of beans to lose. I've always worried a little that something like this could happen, even though things seemed to go so well until now. If I do any network beans in the future, I would go with whatever way you're most comfortable with @Blue-Jay. This year I've sent a fairly large number of beans into the US and Europe as well (in bean trades) and every single one has arrived without incident, I'm still a bit staggered that this even happened. Maybe paper wrap is the better way.

it takes me too much time and effort to get things packaged and out the door for me to want to spend a lot of time dealing with payment and shipping issues. so i keep it as simple as i can...

that is why i limit how many i do each year along with the expense is the time.

if i can do seed swaps and the local library seed library i am reaching more people with much less expense and loss of time - as things are going here i am losing more and more time so i really have to pick where i'm putting my efforts.

eventually i may get some time back but i don't know when that will happen nor can i count on it so best to focus on what is here right in front of me and to get what needs to be done at least attempted.

i've grown Blaugraue once for the network and used to have a sample here but i'm not sure what i've done with that. i have to go through most of my collection this week so if i see it i'll put it aside for regrowing this season if needed.

if i don't have it any more then some of those seeds might still be available in my very last eating bean container i've not cooked up yet and i can put those aside. it won't take more than a few moments to scan that as i recall exactly what those seeds look like. the only other bean i think i've grown which might have similar beans is Nona Agnes but i don't think any of those are in the eating beans because they were grown in more recent years and i kept anything viable for replanting.
