24 chicks

well, i have 8 possible bantam cochins settling down before we see if they all hatch into meatbirds or layers!

i'm sure Monty thought it was a good idea to fool you & get some meaties for his BBQ. here's hoping you got a bunch of layers instead of fryers!
 
Here are my chicks. We had them in a brooder for about a week and had to move them. They are feathering out and some starting to fly a little.

Who knows, but it's still too early to tell if they are roos or hens. I better have at least 12 hens. I was told they are all pullets. I'm going to be really upset if they aren't.
