We are having the winds but probably not as cold as the panhandle (thank GOD!). Sun is shining and I feel like hammered doggie doo. I sure wish I could get past whatever this crud is that I have.... :/

(just so everyone knows -- I cleaned up my language for this post...lol)

I agree it is still in the upper 80's during the day here.
But as the Sun settles it gets cool out. For me that is!

My DW Eby still needs the air on, Anything for her!

More rain forecasted for tonight and tomorrow. :barnie

We are officially under another flash flood watch until tomorrow evening. We have not even hit November and already we are on record for being the 10th wettest YEAR in recorded history. Weather man says we will probably move up that list before the year is out :/ :th

BDR, the story a year or so ago was that Georgia and neighborhood was NOT getting rain because it was all going to east Texas. This year, I understand that the reservoirs in Georgia are filling up.

You can take comfort in knowing that your willingness to share has helped out ;).

I can remember being in Houston in November one year. It wasn't raining . . . quite. It wasn't cold . . . at all! I was so miserable . . .

I couldn't decide whether to wear the sweatshirt I had or not. I was completely soaked with mist/fog and it was so HOT ! If I'd had any energy - I'd have run from one air conditioned building to the next but they'd probably have found me splattered over a curb on the sidewalk as kind of a human puddle.

Heavy fog and frost here this morning. It can't seem to burn off even with a slight breeze. The chance of overnight precipitation is pegged at 100% here. You may see this area on your national weather reports because of significant snowfall but they'll have to send the cameras up into the higher mountain passes to impress the audience. There shouldn't be snow below about 4,000 feet, they are telling us now. Snow by Thursday down here, tho'!!

This rain better not interfere too much with my garden clean-up if'n the Thursday snow will put a stop to it for the year. There's only so much that this ol' boy can get dun in just a few days of clear weather. I bin sick . . .

Today was a high of 87.
It is 7:00 PM and the sun has set we are sitting at 80 with thunder storms moving in.

This is the subtropics after all !

Wind today, and even more wind tomorrow. At this rate, I'm never going to get my big picture window in the living room replaced. :rant For some reason, the window guy doesn't want to try when we have steady 30mph breezes!

vfem, If you were in my part of the world, you could go as a windmill!

Probably the prettiest day today that I have seen for the entire month of October. Barely a breeze, not a cloud in the sky, and our high today was 66. More rain tomorrow
