I actually love the snow. Really. I enjoy, thoroughly, all of the seasons, spring is my favorite, the deep summer is my least, but they all offer their own bit of life to me, and for that I'm grateful :rainbow-sun

Cuh-razy!! It may be hot and humid down here... but you couldn't pay me to move back to the snow! LOL
Right there with ya, nachoqtpie. My old bones can't handle the cold & snow anymore. :p

I try to take a 20 minute walk every day, & when it gets like this I have to head out no later than 8am...otherwise I come back drenched. :/

But, my garden is lovin' it!! :D

I'm usually up around 4:30 to get my run in. If it were possible to get my gardening in at that hour, I might do it then as well. As soon as the kids are out of school, I believe that's what I'll be doing. I won't need to get Monk up for school at 5:30... so I can extend my run and then get some gardening in right as the sun comes up!

And I grew up in Ohio, moved to Colorado, back to Ohio, and now I'm about 45 minutes from the beach. No thanks... I'll take the beach over the snow any day! LOL

The weather so far this year seems to be going on the theme of excess. We had the most snow on the ground that I can remember in my lifetime. A little over a week ago, we had to keep a fire going for a couple days. It's rare that we use the woodstove more than a couple times in April...never in May! And this rainfall. Even the ol' timers don't recall it raining like this before.

It's going to be interesting to see if summer is going to level out or not. Will it be oppressively hot and humid here or will we have an unusually cold summer? So far, things are not shaping up so well in my garden. The few things I have managed to get planted between the rains were then mostly wiped out by a family of groundhogs.

I could just :hit
