Thistle, I've had to clean up every house that my sister has moved out of. When my parents moved out of the home she and I were raised in, they 'gave' it to her in a rent-to-own arrangement. As far as I could tell, she never so much as picked up a dust rag in the 3 years she was there, let alone cleaned a litter box. After she left, my Mother, my SIL and I spent a week throwing ruined furniture away, scraping crud off the floors and trying to get the litter box smell out.
You have my sympathy and prayers. You'll feel so much better once this task is behind you.

Seems like there is at least one in every family. Thankfully my siblings and I always got along. But my cousin showed her true colors when my grandmother died and no one in the family has had anything to do with her since.

It is bad enough to deal with the loss of a parent without all the greedy drama to have to go through. I am sorry you have to deal with this.
