I wrote this earlier today in the Rambling Coffee thread following thru hereColeus amboinicus, synonym Plectranthus amboinicus, Cuban thyme etc etc ... We call it broad-leaf thyme. Wikipedia doesn't even list that name. It would be ridiculous to edit it in with all the others.
I didn't know until this year that some consider it a coleus. It's such an easy house plant DW has had them for years. They thrive with just a little light through the Winter and burst forth with new growth as soon as Spring arrives. Easily propagated.
The plants closest to the camera have been about a week in the soil. The others, in the bigger pot, have been there about 3 weeks. All from cuttings and from a week growing roots in a cup of water.
