i am getting up to date on a fruitcake recipe from a friend... very easy, mixed dried fruits and nuts chopped to desired size, pour over that mixture a can of sweetened condensed milk and a can of condensed milk, stir well, pack into loaf pans (small or bigger). 3hrs for small 6hrs for the bigger. do not have measurements or temperature, but will get those details eventually.
this is a friend's grandma's recipe and he gave me a small loaf either last year or the year before and i really loved it - could have eaten the whole loaf in one shot, but spread it over three or four days. he offered to make one for me but he's busy and i want to do it myself sometime - i mainly just wanted the recipe and i've got the gist of it and can probably wing the rest.
