I like the idea of not choosing sides :). There are reasons for differences in ingredients and preparation techniques. Memories, habits, tastes are what they are. Human health is primary and that must include the environmental health of the planet. Beyond that is a broad horizon very much worth exploring.

if it is food and i'm hungry the piehole gapes wide and mauls things scattering crumbs and mayhem...

the binary world of choices between one and the other is often answered in more ways than one, both or some of each but more of one than the other or maybe just the crusty part of the one because you like that more than the whole of the other...

give me donuts - one of each, breads being close enough to donuts and put some pudding on them and i'm good with all of the above.

delicious looking breads, i am sure you were happy with them. :)
