Many years ago, my (now ex) husband put a star that was about 5 ft wide way up high in a sycamore tree. It could be seen for a long distance and was the only one of its kind in the area. I think he had to have a few beers under his belt to climb that tree. And it took a lot of extension cords to run it all the way to the house for power.

Tree is at least 25 feet, when the star first went up could see it from far away. Not sure if star lights or extension cords went bad. Had a lot of replies going with kid who works for tree company hopefully this weekend.
