A little more progress. I got my "crew" to help on the roof joists today. Their 2 hours of work saved me 2 or 3 days.

You don't get much snow? Are you going to have metal roofing? I see you're using a Ridge Beam, I like that.

I'm putting metal on the sides and roof. We can get quite a bit of snow in a bad winter. Why do you ask?

Well, that pitch is:about 5 or 6 -12 ? The metal roof will help, when you say quite a bit of snow, how much are we taking about?
Looks good, I can't tell exactly the size of the rafters, but that addition will give you some nice working room.

It's actually about a 3-12 pitch. I talked to a couple carpenters about it before I settled on this design.
