I wanted 2 trees more then anything Cherry and Dogwood. I planted tree after tree, killing more then I care to count. Today

Love it! Google some of the 'threats' to dogwoods. They can be prevented with proper care. Of course, my Red Cherokee dogwood doesn't get any special treatment and looks it.

:thumbsup @Nyboy , I have a pink flowering Dogwood it puts on a good show every year. I also bought a Kousa Dogwood at a plant sale, don't know what I was thinking as I didn't have room for it, my only excuse is my eyes glaze over whenever I go to a plant sale, all rationality seems to go out the window. Happy to say it's alive and thriving in one of our son's garden.
