Has anyone used odd things for a privacy screen?
I have 5ft chain link at both sides of the house and by the driveway showing. I've been thinking about using the thicker weed barrier cloth to attach to the wire stretchers on the fence, leaving the poles bare.
I don't need it to last a ton of years and I don't want it to be expensive or heavy to deal with, so wood, lattice, other such things are a bit overkill for this. I want it to be easily overlooked, so I thought the dark grey fabric would work well to just blend away and be forgotten.
I don't like wood fences, other than 3-4 board horizontal farm fencing, but those vertical ones are just meh to me and most are made so flimsy these days! My father built a wood fence when I was 2yrs old, it's still in perfect condition, with no poles falling for the heck of it.
