Oh what a timely topic. This is the first year we have had chipmunks (ground squirrels) and we have then by the hundreds. They are destroying areas of our yard and there are holes all around our foundation. I don't like cats but I might just get a few. The farm next door has 40 or 50 cats and they are always trying to give away as many as they can. I've never seen an infestation come on so quickly. Hmmm no wonder I find our mouse traps strewn all over the barns. We used to have 4 beautiful big black snakes in one of the barns but I haven't seen them in a few years. They were my best friends when it came to controlling small critters around here. I wish my neighbor was giving away big black snakes.
