I thought that the smallest amaryllis Apple Blossom pup wasn't going to make it. Yesterday it proved me wrong.

New Blooms on DD's Apple Blossom Amaryllis. Notice that the splayed leaves have been taped together with scotch tape.

DD is going to bring the Amaryllis home, which I believe means My home. It has gotten heavy and this morning it was on it's side, dirt below, still beautiful. I never would have thought that it would bloom twice! TRIPLE taped!

are you going to remove that tape to let those leaves get some light? otherwise it may not get enough energy to bloom for the next year...

Yep. I have a bigger kitchen counter than DD's have and I think my coffee maker will need to move further west to accommodate all of this greenery!
