What an exhausting day. The kids got to go to Nana's house for a bit while I had a dentist appointment. When I got them home it was chaos!
My daughter has so far managed to hit herself with one of those paddle and ball on a string toys so hard it left a bruise, fall over a dog step and hit her knee so hard the pain made her puke, and slice her toe. I recommended she try quiet activities that have less injury risk, but she wants to help me do everything.
I like the days when she wants to help me, but not the injuries! When she asked to help me cut patterns (and use the mighty sewing scissors the length of her forearm) I suggested instead of sewing we bake bread. She helped me make my first sourdough loaf, wash some dishes, and then cooked herself some popcorn.
She's settled now watching a hamster video for a few minutes while we wait for the loaf to rise, hopefully she doesn't decide to do something crazy.
I'll take pictures of the grow tent later. Everything is so big now!
