YOU have your own calendar!!!
I thought you had to be really rich to buy stuff like that!!
It's very hard to see people's emotions on the internet, so I'm going to assume you are not trying to be mean here. I do view everyone here on this website as friends.

YES!! This could be fun. Let's see here.

February - The month you chip hopefully at the ground in the hopes it will magically be not frozen.
April - Sweet lies of warmth, followed by frost, followed by warmth.
May - The real growing month
June - Weed, weed, weed, weed, *blink* How are there more weeds?!
July - There's no water. It's too hot. Oh no, don't die plants!!
August - Is that the first zucchini?!
Wine&Mead-ber -- Finding unlocked cars to slip zucchini into.
October - Pumpkins!!
November - Yay! The gardens over!
December - Oh no, the gardens really over isn't it? X.x
January - Someone send seeds I'm withering away.

i think it's great that you can ask instead of just going off and assuming it was meant badly. and i've enjoyed the responses. :)

months from most important to least important gardening wise.
Yeah.

I was just telling DW that I liked the Fall when I was young because I liked going off to school, college especially.

But anyway, before the political and religious leaders of Rome got ahold of the calendar, it had 10 months of 30 or 31 days. September, October, November, December were 7, 8, 9 and 10.

The final days didn't have anything to do with growing things so they were just a basket of days. Then, the year began again with the Winter Solstice. Light returns!

These days and years, I just pout about the loss of daylight ...

digitS', yesterday at high noon, a 72" object had a 147" shadow 😢
