The ONLY reason I plan to use it is bc the cats can't get to anything. I have tried it before, it's really smaller than you think, you have to build the skeleton right or it won't stay together.
I took mine apart and stored it in the attic in a cleaned up and used kitchen trash can, minus the lid, so that's the storage.
I guess if I get it set up I can back to you on this.

If you happen to please let me know. I steered my sister to a sturdier one though. :)

Bugs the greenhouse again. Need oil and soap mixed with water doesn't work, but laying the plant sideways in the sink and blasting them down the drain does.

I guess it's daily water blasts until I find something that works.

Aphids were bad in the greenhouse through the Summer.

I sprayed 3 times; both neem and insecticidal soap were used. The peppers were mostly okay with just knocking down the worst of the bug problem.

The eggplants were a different story. (Why do bugs  love eggplants so much :(?) Anyway, I guess that pyrethin could be used, as i sometime use it when squash bugs and cucumber beetles stage a comeback. It's recommended for aphids by various Ag Extension offices. Here's Michigan State Link. Good Luck

My brilliant mother in law brought by some insecticidal soap to try! I blasted off all the visible bugs, but I'll spray it with the soap an some neem oil for good measure and see if that kicks it.

i don't know, but the only time i grew okra here the aphids really went after those. we don't normally see aphids here at all because we have so many ladybugs around all the time but for some reason they did not make any impact on these aphids... At... All... i've not attempted to grow okra again (Mom won't eat it and i would rather grow things we both will eat).

With the last tomatoes fading away in the surviving garden beds, it's time to start thinking of next years garden. My husband has gotten super excited for this years garden. He grew absolutely huge Carolina Reapers in my greenhouse. We cleaned and sanitized it together. (He mopped my greenhouse floor with the indoor mop! Luckily it came clean!) He's growing new pepper plants from seeds of the peppers, and I've got my first tomatoes and peppers started.

My neighbor, who has had a lot more success with gardening than I have, came over and looked at my husbands giant bush reapers, and showed me where to prune to potentially over-winter them. He also shared some tips on saving the tiny tomatoes my daughter is enamored with. I'm very grateful.

Here's a few pictures from today's work:View attachment 70190
I'm trying to be more careful about labeling. Husband may have flipped the Rose De Burne lid, so I'm not sure if that ones accurate, but he also marked the bottom and top so they both match now and we can be sure the lid is on 'right.'

New plastic sheeting on the shelves! We've had some problems with water from the shelf above dripping on the lights, which is of course dangerous.

A gift from my mother-in-law!! What should I put in it?!
Thanks for sharing ... I see that you use little growing containers. I have been eyeing them on ebay, and believe that they will be the end of rats and roos eating my seedlings : )

You are very fortunate to have ladybugs; I get over excited to see one in a blue moon : )
