January 31st will be accented with a lunar eclipse! This will not be seen in totality for most of us in North America!

Anyway, we will be relying on @Susannah to report on more than summer warmth by Groundhog's Day ...

An expectation, hope . .. for Susannah - she hasn't been back since I mentioned it ...

Alaska has had an unusual winter. Nah, I can just imagine showing up in Kodiak for the eclipse and being shaken into the ocean by an earthquake . Oh boy, just need to file and pay income tax, get past Ground Hog's Day (no matter what the little varmint says), and it will all be smooth sailing until spring!

Yesterday was 71. I’m not complaining.

Need time to see what the nursery has. Tomato plants maybe? I’m just kidding. Those don’t come out till the end of March.
