Finally, after waiting since the Bronze Age for my Bearbells to flower, they flower. Well, they bud flowers. So close. But hey, it's only been 5.3 thousand years since I planted it from seed, so, it's on time. :rollseyes:

I have never heard of bearbells??????!!! would need to see them in flower to beable to identify....

I tried googling BEARBELL, FLOWER

Then It gave me Bear, Bell, Flower automatically correcting it.

It looks as though confusion was allowed in somewhere.

You see, some plants "bear" "Bell" shaped "Flowers".

Now I'm curiouser about what they are.

Okay, I should probably do this 'thinking outside of the homestead' thing more often. Bearbell is one of the aliases of the Morning Glory bush, (Dwarf Morning Glory, Bearbind, Bindweed, etc.) I refuse to call it a Morning Glory because there is absolutely no resemblance in any way other than the flowers. The seed, shape, growth, leaves, EVERYTHING, is completley distinct. I believe the botanical name is something like Convolvularia or some faccimily thereof.
