I was able to get some of the pile of the top, but it is still frozen solid in the middle of the pile. I tilled what I could into the garden today, I plan to wait a couple weeks then till again to make sure all the weeds and such are dead. Now I get to get the kids to work picking rocks out. You would think I plant them, every year there seem to be more and more rocks. But I figure two weeks or so of the compost pile thawing out, every few days I can dig out what has thawed out and toss it in the garden before the final till.
