Last night while looking at spring bulbs in big box store, I came across pink daffodils. Of course they where sold out. Before I go crazy looking for them , are they really pink? I learned colors can be misleading in photos of flowers. The photo was of a very deep pink. Anyone grow them?

My MIL has some, but she was disappointed when hers reverted to yellow after a couple of years. These were bought probably 15 years ago though, so maybe they do better now... Or maybe it's a nutrient/pH thing, like the hydrangeas?

I haven't seen pink daffies, but I do grow daffodils with white outer petals and a very pink cup. They've been coming up every spring for 2 dozen years or more.

I found some last night, bought 2 packages of them. Will plant in zone 5 garden and see what happens.
Couldn't hurt to try 'em out. :)

You will love them. Some of my favorite flowers are those that are hardest to grow or keep growing. They become legends. Pink daffodils fall into that category.

Years ago we moved into a house and in the spring pink daffodils popped up among many other bulbs. They came up every year without have care and kept their color. A few years ago we moved and I dug them up, they come up every year for me but haven't flowered, not sure why. I have added more pink daffodils since that I have gotten from catalogs and they come up pink and seem hardy to me.
