The American daffodil society does have some daffodil varieties listed as having Pink perianths, (the petals), but even those look more white than pink to me. Some seem to have a touch of pink just under the corona, (the trumpet part), but none of them are really pink, not even those that are used by breeders or among 18 dollar a bulb varieties.

Thank you, Nyboy! I now have four new pink daffodils to put in my new cottage garden. I'm planting them in a deep pot so I can retrieve them later if I find a more appropriate spot for them.

Smart Red, try this link. If the link works it's the query page.

On the query form, for perianth color type in pink and click exact match. and for corona color type in pink and click exact match.

Then toward the upper left click the submit query box. That'll take you to the page that does not work in as a link. It might be a secure or temporary php whatever that means.

You'll see that even among the breeders daffodil varieties, what counts as pink for the perianth, those are the main petals, is not very pink.

When a daffodil is called pink it is mostly referring to the corona, that's the trumpet part of the flower. And, when there is a pink double daffodil the pink is in the corona parts that frill up making it double.

You can try other combinations in the query form.

CatJac, do they have a similar thing for daylilies?
