I ran across this in my browsing and it sounded interesting but I'm not sure I want to devote this much trellis to it. It's supposed to do well in SoCal. The coments seem to range from delicious to tastes like a cucumber. If it just tastes like a cucumber I don't think I'll bother.
Anyone have any comments on it?

I have a Vietnemese neighbor who grows it, and some other funky stuff. I really should ask him if he would let me try it :) Who knows, I may love it!? (He may ask me AGAIN if he can trade me for some of my silkies for them... but he's going to eat them so I won't! hahaha)

Vfem,
Yeah If I still had my silkies years ago I wouldn't trade them for a Vietnemese neighbor either. Their are some poultry markets around me and all Oriental people keeping buying silkies. I think their a kind of Asian chicken breed.

I would keep an eye on your neighbor
