Anyone Know What Kind of Spider ?

Glad we are not in Australia!!!

Well there ARE hobo spiders (aka the third potentially dangerous US spider) in the Pacific Northwest. They're a member of the funnel web family (don't worry I checked and this isn't one of them)

try looking up the black lace weaver spider or a hacklemesh spider. it looks like this could be a female. apparently they like to be in basements so that helps fit the description.

Ok, the pic from the first post drew me in, and though I HATE spiders I stuck it out to hopefully reach some sort of identification post, but alas I twitched through all of that to come away with nothing. Not cool

Now I'm going to sleep. I'm interested to see how this impacts my dream land :/

Looks like I've been bit by something a couple days ago, just above the right wrist on the underside of the arm. We can't find the bite or sting site but it involves an area 1 1/2"X2". No idea when it happened.
