I tried those carrots that are purple on the outside and orange on this inside this year. THEY GREW!!!

(Colorado is not known for their wonderful carrots...LOL)

I am SO planting those again!

They are called Dragon Carrots. They look like this....

Really good. Like any typical home grown carrot, it was much tastier than store bought stuff but still tasted like a regular carrot...it just looks cooler.

I think that is awesome miron!

I pulled my carrots back in june and ended up with these little stringy things smaller then my piny! I thought with the heat of summer I needed to pull them ASAP. Turned out we had a mild summer, and probably should have left them.

Your harvest is making me want to try again this spring.

I did put some in for fall, but I haven't seen a sprout out of the 50+ O plants 3 weeks ago! ARGH!
