Anyone solarize their garden?

Thanks!.. I think the closest I've ever done to this in the past was using the landscape fabric which for some reason I figured (since it was black) would do the same thing.. I think it did more to smother the weeds than anything else.. This plastic solarization sounds more reasonable.. I'll keep you posted on how it turns out! I'll be setting it up this weekend.. I might have to dig up my compost thermometer so I can monitor the temps below the surface..
