Must be the ex-wife putting his stuff up for sale. Much as those cost, I can't imagine giving one away free except for spite.

I had some diapers left over from DD3 potty training some months ago. Used some up as mess catchers when the dog was having trouble with that awful tumor. Then I used the rest as liners in my hanging baskets. I think the absorbing crystals in those are probably similar to the ones they sell for plants. They've helped a lot. I might bust them open next time and just mix them in with the dirt. And I also put mulch on the tops of my baskets while the plants are still small. That helps too.

The drippers I have are ceramic, but they do thread on to a 2 liter (or less) soda bottle. I seldom use them. Iff'n I'm going to forget to water my plants, I'm gonna forget to fill the soda bottles as well. Still waiting on my arrangement with God.

problem is I am not there during the week to water. lesa I would only use in summer fall take out for winter.

So no rain there lately? We did get a brief downpour today. Maybe 1/4 inch. It looks like most of it went between us. Again!

A miracle! Rain storms that go above and below south-est, central-est Wisconsin AND Long Grove, Iowa! What are we doing wrong?

We got the dark clouds rolling through. We got the winds pushing the front. We caught three dozen or so huge droplets from the storm. Your 1/4 inch was something to write home about.
